Getting Traffic To Your
Site
There is an absolute flood of sites out there claiming
to get you traffic with FFA's, Opti-ins, search engine placement companies,
and ezine ads.
If you tried it and it worked - GREAT! but I am
willing to bet that you spent money,
and saw little results!
First, let's look at FFA
traffic, which stands for "Free
For All"
FFA Links pages are all over the internet. What
they are is a group of people posting their links to advertise their product
to everyone who comes to an FFA site. You can add your site
for free in hopes of getting sales. However, you will quickly
find out that most people go to FFA links pages because they want to promote
their site, and rarely will they ever purchase anything.
Plus, since they just feature links for free, there
will be many many links added each day, so within a few days your link
will be dropped out of the main page.
Not only that, but most FFA links pages want your
email address to post to their site. So what happens is that you
will be bombarded with tons of emails from other webmasters each trying
to sell you their stuff.
So for the most part, the traffic will not be very
good. However, if you have a free ffa submitter software and it only
costs you five minutes of your time each to post an ad..then it might be
worth it, as you occassionaly might get an order.
However, don't bank on making too much money with
FFA's, unless possibly you own the FFA site.
Search engine

There are many people who claim they have mastered
the search engines, and can get you top ten ranking on any keywords you
want. They may know a lot about the search engine engines and
can make pages that have the best optimized chance of getting a good ranking.
But the fact is know one can guarantee your ranking as there are too many
factors inolved, plus depending on the keywords, there could be lots of
competition. For example, if you were trying to get the word
"business opportunity" you would probably have little success getting
a top ranking as there is heavy competition for a keyword phrase as popular
as this. Plus, the search engine results and criteria are always
changing...so what worked last month might not work next month.
The only guaranteed method to get top rankings
is to use the pay per click search engines. This is where you bid
